RIP THE RUNWAY

Walking  the  runway  is an  exciting  moment  but  requires  a lot  of  concentration, coordination, and  the  right  attitude.  As  we  prepare  for  the  launching  of  the  couture collections  the  models  have  a  grand  privilege  to  represent  the designer in  showcasing  the  latest  collection  to  hit  the  runway.  If  you  are  dreaming  of  becoming a  skilled model  and  you  have  never  stepped  foot  on  the  cat  walk,  then  it  can  truly be  a  challenge  taking  to  the  long  runway  in  front  of a  large crowd  with  flashing cameras  all  focused  on  you  and  how  well  you  present  yourself.   Once  on  stage  it's totally  lights,  camera,  and  complete  action  with  perfect  posture  being  a  must. Stepping  onto  the  runway  with  strong  posture  is  the  key  to  a  perfect  walk. Slouching nis an  absolute "no no"  since  you  are  there  to  proudly  show  off  the designers  collection then you  must  walk  with  confidence  in  your  stride.   Similar  to  if you  were  posing  for  a  fashion  shoot,  you  would  stand  upright  with  your  shoulders, held  slightly  back  and  your  shoulders  held  slightly  back  and  your  chin  downwards. Every  inch  of  your mind  and body  should  be  focused  on  your  walk  and  not  just focused on the  movement  of  your feet.   Remember a  good  positive  attitude  helps  to  liven up the audience.   Attitude  and  personality equal  runway  success.   Stepping  out on  the  runway  requires  motivation  which  allows  you  to  focus  on  one  spot  ahead  of your  and  keeping  your  gaze,  focusing  on  the  job  at  hand.   Channel  a  bit  of  sass  and  class  which  will  help  you  walk  across  the  cat  walk  with  confidence !  Let  your personality  shine  bright  giving  the  audience  something  that  will  appease  to  them.  Always  remember  practice  makes  perfect!
